The power of online business – Club Penguin – Disney Deal for $350 Million

There was recent news in NY Times about Club Penguin a kid’s game subscription site was sold to Disney for $350 million. So came to mind was the power of online business and clever internet entrepreneurs used that to build such massive profits and revenue. As I said in my previous make money online posts the opportunity to make money online is true. A company started with three dads in British Colombia could create such impact online then anyone on the planet can make revenue online. This kid’s site is focused on creating personalized Penguins games online.

“Kids are starting to go to the Internet first, so it is important for us to operate in that space,” Robert A. Iger, Disney’s chief executive, said in an interview. This site has 700,000 subscribers with $5.95 a month subscription. If you do the math it is mind blowing and also if you think the site just 2 years old with no SEO or PPC, it gets its popularity but just word of mouth.

The bottom line is if three fathers can do that you can too get that piece of internet pie.
