Every affiliate marketer is not a born expert in affiliate marketing. They all learn step by step on how to promote their merchants products carefully and make a profit out of it. If you are not armed with right knowledge about affiliate marketing you would lose time and money and will be desperate and complete stop it. If you have just started promoting affiliate products how many times you might have asked this question, that did stuff doesn’t works? I know 90 percent of newbie affiliate marketers have asked this questions themselves several times.
Affiliate marketing is not an easy money making kind of scheme or program, it needs real hard work and dedication to make a living out of it. If you promote one good product successfully that’s enough to make good money and make a living out of affiliate program. It takes days and months to achieve this.
My advice to newbie’s to focus on one or two product in a saturated niche and slowly promote with different means like PPC, SEO and Email Marketing etc. And see which one is making you some profit.
There are certain things a newbie should consider for an affiliate marketing product
1) Choose one merchant I always suggest to go with CPA networks where you can start making profit fast through PPC. Sign up for couple of CPA networks I recommend Neverblueads, CPA empire and Azoogle-ads, these three are one of the top and they have very good offer for you to promote.
2) Pick a good pay per lead product and promote it using PPC or email marketing, while choosing a pay per lead program always go with an offer with good EPC(earnings per click) this shows that these kinds of programs will convert better and you can earn good revenue as well.
3) If you are planning to promote through PPC always be cautious, don’t over spend too much money, start off with $10 a day and slowing increase it depending upon the profitability without creating a big hole in your wallet.
4) Constantly review your PPC Campaign make changes to your landing page, focus on keywords which are converting better and diversify those keywords phrases.
5) If you are trying to promote through SEO it takes time and you are at the mercy of the search engines as well as you need to have tons of content on your website as well as external link to your site, which is a daunting task and it is a slow process.
6) E-mail marketing is a good possibility for newbie’s if they have a list or create a list through PPC. Not all program convert very well with Email marketing you need to do test it or you mailing list will be shorted very fast because of the junk they are getting.
The bottom line is trial and error is the best educator to be a successful marketing expert.
